What do We Teach?
We teach to the National Curriculum guidelines for all grant-maintained schools, we focus on the main core subjects of Maths, English and Science (still catering for the other subjects of History, Geography, RE etc..). Maths

English

The ability to not just speak but to read and write English is both beneficial and necessary for the progression of each child education.
Taught correctly, English will be fun, exciting and engaging; therefore, every child needs to embrace and have an opportunity to experience high quality lessons where they can develop good standard English that will be part of their learning and enhance their adolescence life through to adulthood.
Science
Science is vital for children in a way that differs from Maths and English. Children who study science are stronger communicator, remain coordinated and centred, and establish their own beliefs based on factual experiments and experiences. These are crucial life skills as children learn science while expanding their awareness and senses.
Children learn how to explore and wonder about everything in their environment through science. A good teacher will share their expertise with the class as this explores scientific reasoning gives a drive to learn and research more than the classroom. The benefits of Science enhances learning across other subjects as it enhances their inherent curiosity by utilising children's scientific skills.
